Team

Sanjay R. Bharwani

Founder

Sanjay founded Risk Advisors Inc. to bring together markets professionals, risk management experts, and technologists to serve clients in capital markets. He actively consults with clients on risk management and technology related projects, and advises startup ventures focused on new ideas for the financial services industry. Previously, Sanjay was the Chief Information Officer at M. Safra & Co., a multi-strategy hedge fund focused on global macro and systematic trading strategies. Earlier in his career he focused on emerging markets debt at EXIS Consulting, a boutique capital markets advisory firm, and derivative valuations at Reval, a risk solutions provider. Sanjay received his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelors of Commerce from the University of Mumbai.

Jose Dios

Senior Advisor

Jose is an expert at understanding the needs of wealthy families and institutions, especially as it relates to alternative investments. Having been a pioneer in allocating to hedge funds with Global Asset Management and later managing customized hedge fund portfolios for Citibank’s largest private clients, he has unique perspective. He was a client of RADiENT before becoming a Senior Advisor. In addition to spending time with his wife, two children and four dogs, Jose listens to rock music and collects vintage comic books.

Douglas Reid

Senior Advisor

Doug is fascinated with providing solutions to some of the thorniest issues facing asset owners and managers. Having spent most of his thirty-year career working at Soros and Moore and allocating to hedge fund managers, his focus these days in on solving problems faced by institutional and family office investors in alternative investments. He was a client of RADiENT before becoming a Senior Advisor. Doug spends most of his spare time with his wife, five children and supporting West Ham United.

Sanjana Shethia

Head of Product

Sanjana is a finance enthusiast with a passion for programming and data science. She is responsible for building new features on RADiENT, and implementing ideas in manager research, portfolio performance and operational due diligence. Sanjana previously worked as a Fixed Income Analyst with Spark Capital, a financial services and institutional equities house in India. Sanjana graduated with a Bachelors in Commerce from Symbiosis College, and is a Chartered Accountant (equivalent to a US CPA) and FRM(GARP). Sanjana loves playing tennis and reading in her free time.

Saurabh Agrawal

Head of Engineering

Saurabh is responsible for RADiENT’s technical architecture and development. He enjoys working on the data and tech challenges presented by RADiENT. Saurabh has had a diversified career which includes founding a high-impact, low-cost K-12 school in the Indian city of Bhopal and serving as a partner in Industrial Data Research Corporation, Singapore providing hands-on technology leadership and support to projects in varied domains. Saurabh holds Bachelors and Masters in Technology from IIT Bombay. He loves spending time with his two sons and pushing them towards learning math and music.

Yash Mehta

Head of Regulatory Analytics

Yash loves all things tech and leads the Regulatory Analytics effort at RADiENT. He is particularly interested in applied mathematics and it’s application in finance. He has previously worked at the Clearing Corporation of India where he developed risk management systems for the launch of interest rate swaps clearing as well as development of risk models and portfolio compression. He holds a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics from Jacobs University, Bremen and is a CFA Charterholder. Yash enjoys reading and is a Manchester United fan.
